Adolescent Cancer Numbers

Accounting for less than 1% of cancer patients, adolescents are often considered pediatric patients.

Kids age 15-19 are not quite children and not quite adults. They vary greatly in size, maturity, and hormone levels, and their bodies and minds work differently than younger children’s and adults’.
